Sara Reistad-Long is a writer and reporter based in New York City. A graduate of Harvard University, she started her career on staff at ELLE magazine, where she worked on the health desk and wrote a monthly money column. Since then, she's taken on a variety of topics, for a range of news and lifestyle publications. She is currently a member of the American Society for Journalists and Authors and a contributing writer for AOL Health, has served on the executive board of the Newswomen's Club of New York, and sits on the advisory board for the nonprofit Girls Write Now.
